I have heeded advice from this lovely forum and bought a 2nd hand panasonic NV-FS200 with built in tbc but alas it is not without a problem. The fault is streaks are appearing on screen which seem to mostly disappear when the machine is up to operating temperature so it appears to be temperature related. It is like the picture "shivers" when cold. A friend of mine has indicated that it could be an issue with the in-built tbc but I am not sure where to look. Could someone on the great forum help me isolate the fault? I have uploaded a picture of the problem. Thanks

Hi, are you sure that this is not mechanical in origin like a failed pinch roller bearing, too high back tension or sticky lower drum? Always check the mechanics are 100% before moving to the electronics.
