I know this thread is over a month old but it is about valuable information so I would like to share this http://www.8-bitcentral.com/pixeldIn...servation.html

Retro video games are in decline, of course the companies are still out there but they no longer produce anything for their retro systems. It is up to us as the users to make sure that we keep our retro games and systems in good working order so that we can preserve the history of gaming for the future.
