Is there a way of finding out the frame numbers of the biggest shift in each direction made by StabMod, for easier placement of borders/cropping?

It's not a function of stab(), therefore also not my stabmod().

I forget the numbers offhand, you'd have to open the avsi in Notepad, but it does contain at a certain pixel range. The reason I made stabmod() was because stab() was too aggressive for VHS. My mod is aimed specifically at VHS/tape usage.

I actually made a stabmin(), to further curtail border incursion depth, but it was ineffective at actually doing anything.

Overall, a 20 pixel mask on all side should contain it fully.

Also be aware that you should crop or mask the overscan head-switching noise before running stab. Not any other borders, just the lower head-switch bar. That alone makes post-stab crop life somewhat easier.
