Question, I see the philips VR1000, 1100 and 1600 listed in the VCR buying guide, but not the 1500. (Though it's mentioned here, can't find anything else about it on the forums). Is it intentionally omitted due to lacking something compared to Philips VCR (the specs of the 1600 and 1500 seem pretty similar except the 1600 includes SVHS-ET support.), or is it just an oversight?

EDIT: Sorry about bumping, thought I posted in a different thread, but I'm not seeing anyway to delete the post.

There's not as much info out there on the rebadge models of VCRs.

The 1100 and 1600 are JVC clones.
And most likely, so is the 1500, for a corresponding JVC unit of the same era.

If I had to guess, it's the JVC just before the 1600 rebadge. It looks just like a JVC 9600-9900 deck.
