Hi,

I bought a JVC HR-S7000 (5 euro) today on the flea market - I already own a HR-S6600 - so it was time to compare the two.

But... it seems that the HR-S7000 is more noisy. But slightly more detail? Is this normal? Wrong test? Please give your opinion.

Recording method:
JVC --> SCART (S-video) --> DMR-EH55 --> S-video --> ImpactVCB-e --> Virtualdub (Lagarith)

It's Jordan time (as comparison VHS)! See attached .avi's.

Also, the HR-S7000 has no (blue) menu. Only buttons I guess, so I put it on Image Control: Edit and turned Dynamic Contrast off.

///edit: Perhaps wrong forum, sorry, if so, please relocate.

//edit 2: I think I put the DMR-EH55 wrong, because the videos look deinterlaced.
