Hello,

I already have a working capture set-up with ATI AGP card.

I would like to test a new set-up based on SDI capture and eventually test side by side
with ATI AGP card as reference.

How should I proceed to do it the righ way, avoiding introducing bias in my procedure?

Do you compare the footage or point by point image?

I have DVE DVD with test pattern, should I used it? or use just a commercial tape?

Thanks

I have attached a png image extracted from each set-up.

Pretty similar to my eye, but I noticed the presence of the 6.75 mHz burst in the SDI image which is absent from the AGP ATI.

Have a nice sunnyday
