Video picture skipping?

Hello

I have a Samsung Video8 camera and trying to archive my video 8 footage to digital.

Tapes are good as I played them on another camera. But on my samsung camera the video picture ‘skips’ or jitters occasioanlly. I noticed, if it makes a difference, that it happens when the image was ‘shaken’ when the footage was taken.

Any idea what is causing this?

In the meantime I am waiting for my sony ev-t1 so that i get the best results, but I would like to see how to fix the camera, if it is faulty
