Got a lot of noise on the playback so I took the lid off and cleaned the heads properly. Put the lid back on and now there is no power. I gently cleaned a small sensor by the loading mechanism and that's about it. The power button doesn't light up now. The power jack in the back... plugged my monitor into it and no power there anymore. I looked everywhere for a dummy switch.. No luck. Took the power supply out and inspected the Caps... everything looks fine. I can't figure out how this happened and what to do...

thanks

Anyone out there?

How did you clean it?
Did you use non-cotton foam/chamois swabs, or did you make the mistake of using Q-tips?
