Gear repair bonding agent test?
 

Has anyone experience with Bondic or BluFixx PW as a way to repair cracked gears or other parts? If so, what were the results?

It appears to be a UV cured boding agent, similar that to used in dental work for fillings, etc..

Or perhaps Alumilite products to mold new gears?

Someday we will resolve this JVC DD issue, and I can put my beloved 9800 back in service. At this point, for me, it's almost more about the nostalgia of my deck, and the challenge of repair, than the regular use. I've actually moved on to other SRs that I feel give a better image and stability the the my 9800 did.
