JVC HM-DR10000 D-VHS manual, with IR codes!

1 Attachment(s)
I've recently restored one of these units and are using it for my transfers but it didn't come with the manual or remote :(

So I've found both online hopefully this helps others.

Manual attached below.

The only one that really matters is menu, since you can control the rest from the front plate.
I use a USB-UIRT to blast the codes, works great let me turn off that pesky O.S.D rubbish, without spending $40 on a remote.

Please don't simply link to other sites, as those may disappear. Attach the info here in the thread, so the info is not lost. What then happens is the thread becomes worthless, just a false positive when searching Google, a waste of time. That happens too often online.

I've added the codes and manual to the first post. :salute:

Fair enough, thanks for fixing it. There's always archive.org when a site disappears though :)

Manualsib is a well known website no need to link it here, it is a go to place for every google search, If you got some personal scans or purchased manuals those the ones worth posting, thanks anyway.

In the old days, plain HTML sites, sure. But with script-based sites, nope. Archive.org is filled with broken sites these days, as the site backends are missing. Only the front-ended frame or display pages exist, not the actual content. In this case, the actual displayed manual may be 404. Most alarming is when entire forums have disappeared, taking with it tomes of collective knowledge. We've rescued 3 such video-related forums to date, archiving the posts in our archive forum.

The site is only a few years old. I'm just not trusting, as I've seen far too much information disappear over the years. The idea that "once something is online, it's there forever" is laughably false. I know of quite a few things that are essentially erased from public existence now. In fact, some of the documents attached to this site are ONLY available still because of our archival actions within the video community.
