Hello, sorry if this in the wrong subforum.

I have an issue with a JVC HR-DVS3 that I never got round to using until now.

It plays back tapes just fine, no issues. But when I am viewing menus they flash in all sorts of colours and it drifts off to the side of the screen (refer to the attached file). Is there a setting that I have missed, what can I do to sort it out?

I've realised this is a capture card issue. I will post in a different subforum.

All video devices has some degree of offset. The picture is never centered, even when broadcast or mastered to distribution media. The only problem is when offset is so off, that it bleeds into the "safe area" of viewing devices.
