Anyone have TBC-1000 capacitor list / data sheet?

Sending a TBC-1000 off to be recapped & could use any documentation on the caps possible. Does anyone have a detailed schematic of all the caps, or ideally a cap list they can use to order replacements?

Sending it where?
Which exact caps (need photo) need to be addressed?

Datavideo seems to have used some off-brand (Wendell) capacitors in their TBCs (or at least in all the images I've seen of them and in the TBC-3000 I have.) Never found any datasheets for them, so you may have to just go by the markings on them. Another user here that had bad caps on the power board noted in another forum that the step-down voltage converter data sheets states that capacitors with low impedance for high frequencies (aka low-ESR caps?) should be used so you would want that type of capacitors on the power board otherwise they may not last long.

@hodgey literally posted here asking for confirmation before taking a soldering iron to my incredibly valuable TBC-1000 (as an investment it's appreciated more than most stocks!):

I'll be taking the small cap out and checking it to see if its 'aged' much and drifted out of spec. Hopefully it'll serve as an indicator whether the other caps on the unit are okay.

The big power caps are totally gone though by the looks of it, will also measure those and report back.

Okay, removed and measured the old caps on the power board. The small one should give an indication of how much life is left on the rest of the capacitors on the other boards in the TBC.

The 1000uf caps on the power board were totally shot and measured around 300uf. Both had swollen tops, and one was bulging out the bottom.

The small Wendell 0.47uf cap measured fine though at 0.533uf so resoldered that back.

I don't like that this conversation is being split across another thread
Here: http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/vcr-...sting-tbc.html
That makes it confusing to follow along.
I won't lock it, but please pick one for continuing this conversation.

The images I saw didn't show leaking caps, but hot glue. Are you saying this is not the case?

@lordsmurf, yes the caps on the power board were definitely swollen on the top and bottom. They are 1000uf rated caps from Wendell and when removed measured about 280uf so had likely dried out internally. I would suggest anyone with a TBC-1000 inspect their units to confirm. The caps in question are on the power board as per the images attached to this post. Naturally I would not suggest anyone bring a soldering iron near such an expensive unit, even if their caps are swollen.

I sent mine off to have the caps replaced by a professional repairer.
