Akai video player fault?

Hello. I have a problem with a Akai Video Player model VS-P100EM. When it's plugged in, it doesn't respond to any commands and the cassette doesn't drop down when pushing it in.
Any repair tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Without proper troubleshooting there is noway of knowing what's not working, You will have to get the service manual and start probing for power pins, It could be literally anything.

A low-end VHS VCR like that really isn't worth the time or effort.
