JVC HRDVS3 - Tape not flowing and "chewed" (see photo)

Hello everyone!
I just started a new digitization project after some months with this vcr: JVC HRDVS3EU.
It was working perfecly last time I digitized some vhs.

Now it started doing his job but after ~1h it stopped making a high pitch noise, like if he tries to pull the tape without success. After it gave up it shut down suddenly. Then I extracted the tape and the tape was bended at a certain spot.
I tried again. The tape plays for a while, then the machine starts to suffer, dropout appears, and then it stops.
When I extract the tape, the tape is bended in the same spot, relatively to the side of the vhs.
Is it the guide causing this bending? What may cause this issue?

Please see image attached.
Thanks!

Take a video of the problem with alternate closeups, Your description of the issue is not sufficient.

In the end it was only a sticky tape. After retensioning it with a couple of ff and rew everything worked fine!
