Thanks a lot. I was looking to buy this SM like I did for the 40K years ago but the place I bought SM's from seems to be gone and I don't trust lots of sites I see around today-they look like scams.
Anyhow I have a 30K which will not respond to any front panel controls nor remote control but has the optical out red light and I would hear the fan spin up for a few seconds, and the Digi Picture and S-ET indicators will light up but then after a few seconds, they would go dead. :(
Hopefully these pdf's will lead to a solution as the other threads were not conclusive.
