Circa 1989! My machine is still running (albeit with a few repairs along the way). I'm using it now to digitize some tapes recorded in that era, on that same recorder.

Very nice! JVC hardware is an Energizer bunny. :)

The remote on that thing was a monster, but it was nice back when I was recording that you could program the timer directly into it and send to the deck.
