Problem with JVC HM-DH30000U DVHS (D-VHS)

Hello to everyone!

My name is Krystian and I'm from POLAND!

Few days ago I've bought used D-VHS player/recorder - JVC HM-DH30000U - on eBay from US seller and unfortunatelly item arrived to me "a little crashed", without remote control and non working... (becouse seller pack it very bad... but that's not a point).
Maybe someone could help me.

So where's the problem? After plug-in into AC outlet VCR's fan starts operate and after few seconds stops. On front panel (immediatelly after plug-in to AC outlet) two leds lights up signalized that 3DNR and SVHS-ET functions are turned on but that's all (please look at the photos below).

I was trying to push some buttons on the front panel however none of them work and these two diodes still light up... and nothing's happened...
There is also no possibility to load tape (VCR won't turn on after trying to pull tape inside...)

Is there someone out there who could help me in this case?
I would be gratefull.

Thank You,
best wishes to all of You,
Krystian

It sounds like a typical bad capacitor issue.
There's actually several posts like this on the form documenting what others have tried ... search for them, and read through them.

Thanks. :)
