Pioneer DV-09 DVDP; no analog stereo audio output?
hi guys. the rather elaborate analog audio stage on my 1998 PIONEER DV-09 DVD
just went balky on me. all else works perfect, just no sound from the output stage. disc spools up, relays on audio stage click on, SOMETIMES a single audible POP, but never any sound beyond. this a simple component problem? something i can fix myself with a VOM and proper spare parts, or am i better off having a tech look at it, or getting a replacement DV-09? (( AUDIO OUTPUT STAGE IS PCB ON RIGHT SIDE FACING )) http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/imag...DSCF1959-1.jpg http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/imag...ED516113-1.jpg |
Seems nobody here responded, probably no experience with this unit.
Curious if a fix was ever found?

afraid not.
i always did mean to find a donor 09 with a good analog stage. in the meantime, i picked up a 2001 PIONEER DV-37 for a stand-in, and came to like it's decent build and bang-on reliability to the point that i have ended up sticking with it. i mean, hundreds of discs, and six years later, the 37 is still running like new, with not even one single glitch or fault... http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/imag...e435b9db-1.jpg http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/imag...N1214122-1.jpg http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/imag...N1214121-1.jpg |
