HP 1727A Oscilloscope needs attention
I hope test equipment qualifies this post for this forum. I picked up an old analog oscope at a yard sale cheap. Of course it doesnt work (lol), Im pretty sure it needs a new tube because even though it powers on there is no trace , but i can get the screen to brighten by pressing an erase button.I havent yet found anyone nearby that knows oscopes, Does anyone think it is worth trying to fix ? I would like to use it to view actual video signals if possible

I actually have no idea how to repair one of those, as we don't use them much. Sometimes perception is more valuable than science measurements.
But there are some smart folks here, and I'll have to defer to them. jmac, maybe? Right up his alley. |
