This is the first time I have used a forum to get help and I truly hope you can help. This combo unit was given to me 3 months ago and worked fine, Then one night I was sitting at the computer when I noticed a flashing blue light in the corner of my eye. It was coming from the combo unit. It was what I call a blue bar from left to right and the display was flashing "LOADING" and it hasn't worked since. I tried unplugging it and holding power and stopand nothing. the tray won't open and it won't power up or down. I'd really like to fix it if possible. I am good in electronics so soldering won't be a problem. I spoke to a number of people at JVC and they sounded like idiots I hate to say.
Please help me to fix this unit.
