Panasonic DMR ES35V U61 error

This appears to be a problem with the digital pcb under the drive unit. Does anyone know what component might have failed. The dvd drive does not make any noise. The machine does not boot properly, but powers on and off. The tray does not open. VCR part untested. Hard reset performed but it did not help. Could it be the flash chip program is corrupted? Voltage regulators? Thank you.

I can't see those images. Please attach them here, to the forum.
ImageShack requires JS, and has all sorts of "lick here and wait" nonsense, and we therefore don't use it.

The usual culprit here is bad capacitors. Sadly, none here seem to look bad. Therefore you'll have to get a meter and test the value on each.

Thanks, but i ruled out dry electrolytics. I have an in circuit esr meter. All caps have low esr. Besides, the dvd was manufactured around 2006. They are old, but not that old. The worst case scenario is that the firmware is corrupted or I have a bad ic somewhere on this board. The machine appears to fail the self check. No sound from dvd rom at all. No menu. Just a brief blue screen. The machine responds only to power button. Cannot toggle between dvd and vcr. I also, ruled out bad inductors with the aid of an in-circuit LCR meter. I changed the two voltage regulators. Did not make any difference. I inspected the traces with a 40x loupe. This board is clean and quiet like a moose. It doesn't even smell bad. I did not test the oscillators yet, because the literature doesn't mention they have a high failure rate. I even refrigerated the board briefly. No change. I haven't place it in the oven yet, neither re flow it. I don't think it will make any difference, or does it. I taught myself the little skills I know. I am looking at the service manual but it doesn't look helpful. I am looking at the board. I wish it could talk to me. Just where does it hurt. Then I can mend it.
