i have a liteon vhs &dvd reccorder..i am having trouble getting power to stay on both vhs tape and the dvd recorder and the same time//power to vhs player but when i turn on dvd to recorder the vhs tape the vhs power turns of..can you help please

Please don't post questions more than once.
Please use a title that represents the full issue. (I've fixed it for you.)

It sounds like a capacitor issue. It was common a common issues with many DVD recorders and VCRs.
