How to remove SR-V101US pinch roller assembly?

The service manual has nothing for this.

Does anybody here know how to remove the pinch roller arm assembly?

The SR-V10 uses the same transport as the HR-S5900 and 3900, as well as some of the other Professional Series decks. The 5900 manual shows how to do it (though not well), but the SR-V10 and 101 appears to have different transports (therefore different pinch arm assemblies).

Is it not a simple circlip or split washer? Sometimes you can change the roller without removing the arm - is the old one perished?

It was a plastic clip. I'd never seen a roller like this before. It was inverse to most JVCs. You have to get a tiny flathead and pry it apart. The piece is cheap plastic, and will not last too many removals.
