Sorry for the long overdue update on this, I've not had a good year or so (nothing covid) just other health issues.
I just wanted to leave a reply on how I got on with my repair with Quasipal now I am not going to leave any bad words because this guy has spent some time on my machine even though it's still not fixed as intended, will explain that in a bit. Quasipal (Ian) sorry just can't keep calling you that all the time, like I said spent quite some time cleaning a few bits and also replacing quite a few caps. Though on receiving the machine back the picture wasn't any better I have showed Ian a few recordings I had done and he agreed there was still a problem. I have told Ian once I have time I will eventually send the machine back and hopefully he can sort the picture out for me, I will also send him a few of my original tapes so he can judge for himself what the problems are, but anyone wanting their NV-FS200 fixing and if Ian has the time and spare parts don't be put off by what has happened to mine because I am sure in the long run he will fix the issue with my machine. I am just happy that I have a few spare machines and another FS200, I really do need to invest in buying myself an NTSC machine for backup. |
I’m glad to hear that.
Do you know of anybody in the US who can fix my PAL VCR (I live in the US now). Also, do anybody knows anything about the eBay seller dragonxdragon? Is this seller worth it for PAL vcr’s. Thanks! |

If you want to ship to Europe, then VCRshop.nl (and we've done this) -- tell him I sent you (I don't get kickbacks, but I do want him to know who's sending him customers). I support quality operations in the field, be it him, or selur (Hybrid), ISOBuster, and some others. |
Thanks!. I'll contact VCRshop.nl and will let them know I'm looking for a decent pal vcr and that lordsmurf sent me to them.
