Panasonic AG-MD835 / AG-MD830 tracking?
 
Hi!

I have bought panasonic ag-MD830 and ag-MD835 the both.
The problem is luck of tracking and tape goes to fast.
Maybe somone could spare a service manuals????

I am no expert, but aren't both of those VCR's are for medical (sonogram) use? There is a sticky of recommended VCR's for VHS capture.

it is not a question ....MD is for medical uses but they works perfect by the way...they should do that works

Medical VTRs are nasty. These were used in places where germs and sickness were in the air. And that lovely little VCR fan would just suck those into the unit, spewing them all over the mechanics of the deck. Medical VCRs should be the least desirable of any VCR for that reason alone.

Beyond that, these are tuned only for SP. That's probably why tapes are "too fast" (LP or EP/SLP), as it does not understand extended tape modes. And tracking will be off for the same reason. Even many SP tapes may not track well.

These were intended for recording only, never playback, not even editing.

S-VHS only, usually no comprehension of what VHS is.

Never get these VCRs for playback. At this late date, this sort of item is completely obsolete, too heavy to be a paper weight, not heavy enough as a boat anchor.

MD 830 has only 59 Hours of working 59H devide to 3 hours is 20 VHS tapes only then it felt tracking and from 2005 kept on wearhose.

Help me plaese! I need service manual simple!!!!

After several hours when been connected to power cord my panasonic ag-MD830 starts plays properely. It is amazing! Some kinda Magic!!!!!
