Hello All...

I'm having trouble with sound during video capture. Video captures great, but sound volume seems to resemble a sine wave, going from soft to loud and back to soft. Any thoughts on how to either eliminate this or correct for it using some sound filters?

Tks...Tom

Cheers...Tom

Need some more information

Is it from any kind of input to the video card? meaning does it do with cable broadcasts as well as say VHS?

Hi guys...just wanted to let you know I figured this out.

Silly me...I was capturing the sound AFTER it was routed through my ATI AIW capture card...not smart at all. Evidently, there is some kind of copy protection working that only impacts the sound. I rerouted the sound directly to my sound card and all is now working fine.

Wow...think Tom! Lots of wasted effort on recordings.

Anyway, thanks Mark!

Cheers...Tom
