Pinnacle 510 USB, Windows 10, no video source?

Hi,

I have installed win10 64bit driver for the pinnacle 510usb as found http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFi...readmeHW10.htm

I also have the crossbar utility, to change input from composite to svideo, and select PAL etc.

When I load virtualdub, under devices, i get "Pinnacle 510-usb (Directshow)", it shows connected at the bottom status bar.

The problem I have is under video source and audio source, there are no selections to choose from?

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I have searched the forum but cant find anything.

(I have enabled Virtualdub access to camera under privacy settings in windows 10 app as well)

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you.

I already have the crossbar utlity, and set input to svideo before loading virtualdub, but still no video source input?

I know this card works in Win10, and test installed it on my Win10 tablet.
You're using VirtualDub 1.9.x from the forum download?

correct, the 1.9.11 with HuffYUV - Captureflux picks it up both audo and video - is this much worse than virtualdub? is it lossless?

After many hours playing around, I have concluded that it works on windows10 but only on early not updated versions, and still a little buggy at that.

Vista seems to work better.

Also it appears that the video source and audio source never appear in virtual dub using the 510-usb, but it isnt needed anyway to capture as long as the preview box in virtual dub shows the source material.
