PAL-N with DMR-ES15 passthrough?

I used the DMR with great results.... thankˋs again for all.

I need to ask you for some details, I have a pal-n tape to capture. I guess the better option is to buy a transcoder to convert the pal-n to ntsc. Considering I have a Panasonic ag 1980 in good shape and the DmR es15 FOR THE PassTrought.
Pal-n vhs vcr-> transcoder pal-n to ntsc -> ag1980->dmr-> usb710-> vdub with uffyuv.

This is the right path to go ?

I'm not really sure. :question:

Is there such a thing as PAL HUFFYUV or NTSC HUFFYUV? I would have thought not, the only difference being the frame size and frame rate?
