I tried changing to the "fixed" Audio Latency Determination and setting that to 170 ms, but no dice.

I can do the direct stream copy interleaving, but if I can correct for this consistent lag up front, I'd much rather do that.

Im using a GV-USB2 capture from a Toshiba D-VKR3SU. No TBC and would like suggestions that don't involve a TBC please.

CORRECTION: Using the audio interleaving delay generates a file that does not play correctly, so that seems like a no-go.

Appreciate any help with this as I've wasted two entire days trying to troubleshoot. :(

Did you try other capture software like AmarecTV?

GV-USB is a "grabber", and "grabbers" are known fluky quality devices.

Lack of TBC probably is the main issue here. Are you dropping frames? Of course, that also means the GV-USB has to report drops correctly, which it may not be doing.

I don't like buying stuff either. But TBC is a required tool to do the task we want. Buy it, use it, resell it.

Why did you select those timing setting? Those are not defaults. "Automatically disable resync" may be wrong for this card.
