Hi all

I have a Panasonic NV-HS860 that I use for capturing PAL VHS tapes and I've encountered a tape where the audio is cutting out in parts. I believe this is the HiFi track?(did PAL have linear and Hifi?) I'd like to try capturing it with the regular linear audio track

I've been going through the menu to see if I can switch the audio but the only option in the menu for audio is either NORMAL or MIX. Normal I believe is the HiFi track and when I tried Mix, the audio sounded pretty hollow.

Does anyone know if this VCR has the capability to switch between HiFi and regular linear audio?
