I have seen is around 400+ dollars on the market

Good for what?
Panasonic had terrible encode quality as a DVD recorder.
And it's not a with-HDD version of ES10/15.

Was planning to connect it with a es-10 and then with a jvc dr-m10 for burn discs

No i wasnt plan to use as dvd recorder with his combo
