Hello all,

I've learned from this forum that there are at least 3 versions of HuffYUV (plain, MT & 64). I still confused about which one is the best suitable for video capturing with a Pinnacle Dazzle in my Windows 10 Home Single Language 20H2 Version, the OS is 64-bit and the 6-Core processor is x64 based.

I'm also confused about the HuffYUV version I have installed, I downloaded them 3 from here and it appears in VirtualDub as: "Huffyuv v2.1.1 - CCESP Patch vo.2.2"

So my couple of questions would be:

- Which version of HuffYUV is "Huffyuv v2.1.1 - CCESP Patch vo.2.2" and is it the right for my setup?

- If I should change it, which one should install instead?

Thanks beforehand.

Huffyuv v2.1.1 - CCESP Patch vo.2.2 is for 32-bit software like Virtualdub 1.9.11. The 64-bit Huffyuv is for 64-bit software. The way I check to see what is installed is to open Virtualdub and select Video, then Compression...and see if Huffyuv is listed. Note: for Windows 7 and later, to install the 32 and/or 64 bit versions of Huffyuv, you have to install them manually as described in various posts in this forum. The Huffyuv MT version isn't recommended.
