Been trying to record this one tape I have. It displays on the TV Fine but when I try and capture it. It plays fine and then a Grey Screen appears for the whole tape. Don't know why or how to fix it. I tried even using the ES10 to get past it but that didn't work either.

When fast-forwarding or pausing the image comes back but when I hit play again, the Grey Screen comes back.

I've attached a video file of what I'm experiencing.

This is likely a signal issue, and capture cards cannot overcome it without actual TBC (not a TBC'ish like ES10/15).

What card?

Well, I was using the Avermedia ce310b (since it works with Windows 10). I tried using the Panasonic ES10 as a passthrough but that didn't fix the problem. I also tried it with just the Panasonic NV-FS200 with TBC turned on and that didn't work. Find it weird that the tape worked with an old setup I had with the Panasonic DMR-EZ48V to an Elgato HD60S.

Avermedia cards are not suggested, for this type of reason.

Elgato earned the nickname "Elcrapo" (for bad video capture cards, not their non-video products), so I'd still keep looking for another card.

Which card depends heavily on OS, and then also PAL vs. NTSC (or both).

Any recommendations of Capture cards that works for Windows 10? Probably a dumb question but it's worth asking. I use PAL mostly but I do plan to find a NTSC TBC Player at some point.
