I'm trying to capture Hi8 ntsc tape using huffyuv codec on window 10/AmarecTV

I wonder what the field threshold should be set to.

When I searched on Google, the story was different for each person, such as 240, 288, 480.

What is the right choice?

Also, is it correct to uncheck the enable full size output buffer setting?

Use original HuffYUV for capturing (no field threshold option; btw, it should be irrelevant)

edit: same for "buffer" option

I don't know if I understood correctly because I am weak in English.

original huffyuv? I don't know exactly what that means
I downloaded huffyuv from a post posted by Lordsmurf.

If you look at the huffyuv option in ArmecTV, the field threshold option exists.
So as you said, is the field threshold option irrelevant?

edit: same for "buffer" option??

What do you mean?

^ Basically, this. (Though I like the 2.1.1 Multi-Threading Patch version, as well.)

Why Huffyuv Field Threshold should never be set to anything other than 288, explained in the following link:
