Well I have come up with a PAL vcr now I need a capture device that will support 768*576. I have a dazzle dvc 107 and it will not. It will only do 720*576 (using Vdub anyway.) And as a matter of fact, I cannot even find a simple list of supported resolutions for this dvc 107. Pinnacle has a downright rude lack of support for their products.

I would prefer a usb device as I am out of pci slots. And of course the more supported resolutions the better!

You might be in luck. I have a card that does 768x576 PAL, and captures to either lossless or uncompressed AVI. It might be perfect for you. It's yet another item I have for sale, but just haven't put online yet "for sale". It's $40 if you're interested, fits a PCI slot.

Indeed, most devices DO NOT go up to 768x576 resolution. Most are capped off at a maximum of 720x480 NTSC or 720x576 PAL, especially in the consumer line cards you find in electronics or office supply stores.
