Thought I'd share...

Got an email from Account Executive Distribution Sales North America today. Putting the different pieces of the email together, here's the info:

ADVC 300 has been discontinued. We don’t sell this anymore nor manufacture it.

Our component manufacture stopped producing the necessary parts for the ADVC 300 so this wasn’t necessarily our decision but more of a situation where we were forced into this.

The ADVC 55 and 110 are still in production.

Given how the tech is at least a decade old, I'm not really surprised by this. It had to happen eventually.
That's the only reason BT8x8 cards disappeared -- Conexant bought out BT, and then the cheap chipsets were discontinued.
