Trash. I forget the exact specs of the hardware -- Dell doesn't manufacturer video cards -- but I do remember it was crap. It's probably a low-end rebranded device from Pinnacle or Dazzle. Don't get that.
Anything that says it uses/needs "Microsoft Movie Maker" is to be avoided at all costs.
At one point, Dell was re-branding Pioneer 103/104 DVD burners, and selling systems with ATI All In Wonder 7200 cards. I don't remember if that was before or after the junky device being asked about here. The case was full of garbage proprietary parts, the motherboard was crap, and the DVD burner never got a firmware update (it had to be hacked to work well). Sony and Compaq did the same thing, at the same time. They were direct competitors in the early 2000s.
It'll be a fun toy, if you're just curious about the earlier days of video capture, but that's about it.
