Hello, i was reading your article on the internal audio cable. I cant seem to find a 4 pin to mini 4 pin that uses 4 wires, everything i find uses only 3 wires and i cant tell in the pic if that is what you are using. so is a 3 wire 4-pin to min 4-pin whats supposed to be used?

Your clarification is appreciated.
Bill

It's a 4-pin cable, sometimes referred to as the CD audio cable.

Great, Thank you.

I just needed that clarification on whether it had to be a 3-wire 4-pin or 4-wire 4-pin(i don't think a 4 wire exists)

Thanks Again.

Hello. I need help as far as what kind of cable this is. Yes I know, 4-pin (4 wires) to 4-pin (3 wires), but I don't know if there is more than one type of this variety. If anybody can help, here is my thread:

What internal audio cable for ATI All In Wonder?

Thank you.
