Any recommendations for a shop or person that repairs Panasonic AG-1980 VCRs preferably in southern California, but all recommendations are welcome. My 1980 seems to be outputting washed out color or black and white video most of the time. Also, there seems to be some static at the bottom of the video regardless of the VHS tape. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

there are a couple forum members who can repair these.
the overscan on the bottom is going to be there no matter what anytime you play back a tape on a computer.
you can either mask or crop it out.

Awesome. I'll search the forums for these VCR wizards and thanks for the info on the overscan!
