I rented both the DVr 413 & DvR 313 recently. Both are excellent.
The 413 has one extra feature. You have the option of selecting which audio format Mpeg or Dolby . Aslo what bit rate you want to record your audio in such as : 41,000 or 48,000.

It stablized unplayable tapes . As well as improved video quality too.

A few disc I sent to philip were done with those recorders.

For more info:

Models DVR 413 & DVR 313

This is one worth buying.

No image screen caps. text Menu , The video results are worth every penny.

Thought Id pass on the info.

Zenith has an LSI Logic DMN chipset.
The same chipset found inside JVC, LG and LiteOn units.
So I'm not surprised that you're happy.

I recently got a set that I think was made on a Zenith.
Indeed, it was a decent transfer. I was pleased.
