I would like to know if anyone had ever experience problem with the audio level meter in virtuldub?

Sometime I get problem with the audio.

I am dubbing some tape and suddently the audio level meter freeze...

Basically the bar in one channel stay stuck at Max and the other bar is absent from the channel.

Whatever I close virtualdub or reboot the PC, I stay stuck with this problem.

Any ideas about what is going on?

Thanks

I found the audio level meter to be mostly useless. It's very crude. I'd rather capture a sample, and open it in Sound Forge to see the waveforms.
