Hello,
I finally received the ATI All-in-Wonder 9800 pro. Unfortunately I'm having massive problems trying to make it work. ATI-MMC is version 8.7. The issue is, when the program first starts, during TV setup, it goes all the way to the screen where I'm supposed to connect the audio cable from the ATI board output to one of the PC soundcard inputs. I do not have this cable (I do have the ATI inputs cable, but not the outputs cable). I try to bypass this screen, but right in the next one, where I'm suppose to say where I connected the cable to, the software completely crashes, windows error.
Now I know for a fact that the issue is audio related, since if I disable audio on the motherboard it will bypass this screen entirely and I can view and capture video, but I find it strange that the program would crash due to a missing audio cable? Anyone has any ideas?
(some additional notes, windows is XP 32 bit SP3, motherboard is ASRock 775dual-vsts, 2 GB ram, ASRock MB drivers installed, all ATI drivers apparently correctly installed, audio drivers appear to be correctly installed as well, PC audio is working), no anti-virus atm, and no other software that could cause errors)
Also, the ATI-MMC test mode passes without any issues.
