Hi, I have a JVC HR-S7600EK that I rarely use. What are some good practices to follow to keep it in good shape while it remains unused?
Also is there a life span of it I should know? I don't use it now at all and generally I've not used it that much.

Electronics in general don't like hot, cold, humidity and dust, Also avoid stacking heavy loads on them, Better if they are completely sealed in original packaging, Also keep them away from electromagnetic fields such as speakers, CRT monitors, As far as decay of the belts and capacitors leak I believe that there is nothing that you can do about it
