What is the "best" setting in ATI Catalyst? Mpeg?

When recording in best it seems as if I'm recording 100 mb/s or close to 7 gigabytes an hour. The quality looks a bit better than my advc 55.

Both were used with a Panasonic again 5710 and avt 8710.
