I've read a few theards on these cards, but I couldn't really figure it out wether it is a huge benefit of using one over the other, the most useful thread appeared to be this one:
http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/vide...er-7500-a.html

but my question would be, is it worth going from ATi "Diamond" TV Wonder 600 PCIe capture card to a AIW PCIe one, not AGP as I don't have that port on my mobo.
Something like ATi 2006 Pcie version that has the Theater 200 chip?

Things I do:
Capture PAL VHS tapes (currently only on AVI huffyuv as the 600 doesn't support mpeg2, but since avi is better to retain the quality of capturing I should stick to AVI right?)

VCR: JVC HR-S7600EU (B.E.S.T turned off, norm filtering, 3dnr off, TBC on)
TBC: Datavideo TBC-1000

Will I get any better results with the AIW theater 200 PCIe card compared to TV wonder 600 PCIe, is it even worth the upgrade?

Would be a good answer also for people who use the usb stick 600, but are thinking of going to AIW PCIe line.
