Alright so i usually use the Roxio video capture usb with RCA cables connected to the Toshiba W512. It usually does decent tracking. But there's a few tapes that the tracking drives me nuts. It does some weird tracking on top. I tried the Sansui VRDVD4005 and that did the tracking more better but unfortunately that vcr kicked the bucket a very long time ago. Would capturing those tapes on a S VHS VCR using S Video help more on the tacking? Since i cant afford the Panasonic AG 1980 i could probably either go with the Toshiba Diomage SV-771 , Mitsubishi HS-U65 or JVC HR-S9400U. My budget would be around 50-90$. Any advice or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks! Here's a few screen shots of what i'm talking about
