The ATI USB2.0 N (dongle) from 2005 [Theater 200 chip] is supported on Apple Mac OSX - EyeTV. I have a copy of EyeTV 3 on a Mac Mini running 10.6.8, so I plugged it in. EyeTV threw open a window with the output from the USB2.0 N

It supports Tuner, S-Video or Composite for NTSC, PAL and SECAM.

Recording presets are:

Video CD
589 MB per hour
352x240 29.97 fps 1.15 Mbps CBR, IBP frames
Audio 44.1 kHz, 224 kbps

Standard (DVD 120 min)
1.8 GB per hour DVD-compliant MPEG-2
Video: 352x480, 29.97 fps, 4.0 Mbps VBR (6.0 Mbps max), I frames only
Audio: 48 kHz, 224 kbps

High (DVD 90 min)
2.7 GB per hour DVD-compliant MPEG-2
Video: 720x480, 29.97 fps, 6.0 Mbps VBS (8.0 Mbps max), I frame only
Audio: 48.0 kHz, 384 kbps

I would rather capture without compression, does anyone have any ideas how to do that?

Thanks

Oh, man ... it figures ... my Mac is down right now.

I need to test this ASAP.
What sort of default compression is it applying?
Do you have an extra copy of EyeTV3? I don't think I have it anymore, no Elgato cards.

In fact, I didn't know you used Mac. I may have a favor to ask.
