I can know finally output the time from Vegas to the JVC recorder. The big hang up for me was trying to do it under windows 2000; switched to XP and it works like i'd hoped.
Now the issue is working with the menu structure I'm ok with the limitations, mine and it's, but I can't figure out how to remove the date from the "program name" menu or titles. I've read the manual, alot, but I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction again

I have never played with menus. I use this recorder strictly as a capture device, never really keeping any discs from it. I too, would just be reading the manual.
