Hello All,

Finally got the internal connection between my AIW 9600 and TB Santa Cruz Sound card to work. After reinstalling the TB software and resetting, it just worked...go figure!

References in the Forum guides show XP audio settings windows. With the Turtle Beach software installed, all I see is the TB audio setup. How do I get the Windows version to show up and is that preferable?

While I'm at it, a number of folks have mentioned not to select audio preview as it might contribute to dropping frames. Where does one even select or de-select that capability? Are we talking about what comes from the output jack to the PC speakers as the capture is underway?

Any help is appreciated, and I will likely feel this way when told what I'm doing wrong...

Regards

msconfig, uncheck Turtle Beach software, reboot

Yes, use Windows only controls.

TBSC has an audio bypass preview, so you don't need VirtualDub to preview the audio. It already previews outside of that program.

Wrong computer right now to give more specifics, screen caps.

We all get lost, make obvious mistakes. For me, it's always "Ugh, can't believe I didn't see/do that."
