Hi everyone, first post here. Was wondering if this issue could be tackled:

I'm converting some VHS tapes and have the whole setup plugged in and initially tested with AMCap. However I was using the trial version of AMCap which limits clips to 15 minutes, and am a bit too cheap to spend the full amount for a few tapes, so I installed VirtualDub. My issue is that it's garbling the video input with these horizontal lines, and I can't figure out what it could be. (I've attached a screenshot of each instance to explain better).

Seeing both programs seem very similar, there must be some setting which is probably preset in AMCap and not in Virtualdub. Any ideas where I could try checking? Thanks in advance.

Quick edit: I've found the issue - I was viewing the video under Video>Overlay instead of Video>Preview. Everything previews fine and records with no problems.
